Restock Radar · Effective June 18, 2026
Restock Radar (“we”, “us”) is an inventory forecasting and reordering app for Shopify merchants. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how we use it, and your choices. We collect only what the app needs to do its job, and we never collect your store’s customers’ personal data.
Data we access
With your permission, Restock Radar reads the following from your Shopify store using read-only permissions: products and variants, inventory levels, order quantities, and locations. We use these to calculate demand forecasts, reorder points, and low-stock alerts. The app is read-only: it never creates, edits, or deletes anything in your store, and it never places orders.
Customer personal data
Restock Radar does not access or store your customers’ personal information. We work only with aggregate product and quantity data (how many units of a SKU sold and how many are in stock) — never customer names, emails, addresses, or payment details.
Data we store
We keep, for each installed store:
- your store domain and a secure access token used to read the data above;
- your reorder settings (e.g. lead time, service level);
- aggregated daily units-sold and inventory counts per product variant, so forecasts load quickly without re-reading your whole order history each time.
Service providers
To run the app we share limited data with:
- An AI provider (DeepSeek) — receives aggregated, non-personal inventory and reorder figures to generate the plain-language “what to reorder” summary. No customer data is sent.
- Resend — delivers the optional weekly low-stock email digest to your email address.
- Cloudflare — provides the network/CDN the app is served over.
Your data is stored on our own infrastructure and is not sold or shared for advertising.
Retention and deletion
When you uninstall Restock Radar we delete your store’s data, and we honor Shopify’s data-erasure request (sent 48 hours after uninstall) by purging all of your store’s sessions, settings, and stored sales history. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.
Your rights
Depending on where you operate (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the data we hold for your store. Contact us at [email protected] and we will respond promptly.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will revise the effective date above when we do.
